Autonomous Controller and Main Machine Controller Software Update

Because the Autonomous controller and main machine controller interact with one another their software
(also known as firmware) must be compatible with one another. Consequently, when updating the
autonomous controller, firmware for the main controller is also downloaded to the machine. After updating
the autonomous controller, at the next power on cycle, in user or supervisor access mode, if the main
machine controller requires an update it will automatically initiate the update of the MMC.
The update process is done in two steps. First, you download the
files. Second you install the update. The download normally takes
through the IOT module cellular network connection. If that is
unable to work, it is possible to use the "Connect to WiFi" feature to
download the files, but that will require one on one assistance from a
Nilfisk representative.
