38-Squeegee System

Functional Description
The squeegee assembly
mounts directly to the scrub
Squeegee
deck, and as such, does not

require a separate lifting
mechanism like many other
systems. It also mounts
concentric to the scrub deck,
which results in better
squeegee tracking during

turns.

squeegee and the floor causes
the squeegee to always
track behind the scrub deck,

Rear Squeegee

The squeegee can be used
for 3 modes during cleaning

operation: Scrub and
Squeegee, Squeegee Only, and Scrub Only. For squeegee-only operation, the scrub deck is raised slightly so
that the squeegee remains in contact with the floor, but the scrub deck is just above the floor. In scrub-only
operation, the squeegee stop is manually engaged to hold the squeegee off the floor.
As the machine travels forward, the squeegee
blades deflect rearward (radially outward around
the whole curve), which permits the squeegee blade

to seal better against contours in the floor. The

squeegee frame contains 3 wheels that prevent
the squeegee frame from lowering too far as the
squeegee blades deflect back. This determines the
maximum deflection of the squeegee blade. The rear
caster wheel can be adjusted up and down to align
the front and rear squeegee blades parallel to the
floor surface.
