Only use this appliance on a horizontal and stable surface. The appliance must be oriented standing on the plastic feet with the control knobs on the top of the unit. The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket outlet. Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer, separate remote control system or any other device that switches the appliance on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the appliance is covered or positioned incorrectly.
1. Electrical Connection Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the appliance. The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped. Avoid use of an extension cord, the extension cord may overheat and can increase the risk of fire.
2. Operation Only use this appliance on a horizontal and stable surface. The appliance must be oriented standing on the plastic feet with the control knobs on the top of the unit. Some parts of this appliance can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
3. Cleaning and Maintenance Isolate the appliance from the electrical supply and ensure the appliance has cooled down before performing any maintenance task. • Clean the body of the appliance with a slightly damp, soft cloth only. Do not use excessive amounts of water or abrasive chemicals.
