GENERAL INFORMATION
The hot runner controller profiTEMP IM is suitable for heating hot runner moulds in injection moulding machines. For this
purpose the hot runner controller is connected directly to the injection mould via connecting cables.
Hot runner controllers supply an electric current to the heaters of an injection mould during operation. The heating cur-
rent enables an adjustable temperature increase of the heaters and thus also of the mould. In parallel, continuous tem-
perature monitoring takes place via connected thermocouples. In the event of deviations between a currently recorded
temperature and the target temperature set on the hot runner controller, the output level is automatically readjusted until
both temperatures are equal.
The profiTEMP IM is available in three versions. These differ only in the design of the plug assignment of the mould con-
nection (ä 3.5 Mould connection).

FIRST READ, THEN START
TRANSPORT
The profiTEMP IM is delivered shockproof packed in a sturdy cardboard box. This normally ensures sufficient protection.
To avoid damage during transport, the device may only be transported in an UPRIGHT position.
UNPACKING
Check the device for any transport damage. Do not connect devices that have been damaged during transport!
If necessary, lodge a complaint with the transport company.
LIFTING AND CARRYING
The device is to be carried by the handles provided in the two side panels.
STORAGE
If the unpacked device is not put into operation immediately, it must be stored protected from dirt and moisture. The
