OPERATION

4.1

SWITCH ON / SWITCH OFF

After making all the necessary connections to the device, set the main switch on the back of the device to position 1 / ON
to put the device into operation. The device can be de-energised in the same way (position 0 / OFF).
4.2

SCREEN LAYOUT

The device is operated via the 7" touch screen. For better readability of the screen, the front panel of the housing is
inclined.

4.3.1

BUTTONS AND INPUT FIELDS

The status or the function of buttons and control panels can be recognised by the grey tone of the key or control panel
background.
Button The button cannot be pressed.
Input field The input field cannot be selected.
Button The button can be pressed.
Input field The input field can be selected.
Button The button is pressed or the button is selected.
Input field The input field is selected.
Whether the value in an input field can be changed is indicated by the key symbol in the lower left corner of the input
field.

The value in the input field can be changed.
The value in the input field cannot be changed. The user has no authorisation to change the set-
ting value. This requires a ä Login.
The screen is divided into four sections.

B Content area
C a.o. ä 4.4.1.2 Menu bar
D ä 4.4.7 Footer
The content in all four areas may differ depending on the screen mask
selected.
