7.3. DISASSEMBLING THE TLCBR CHIP

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph
7.1. "Disassembling the housing".
With the housing placed on a work bench:
1. Remove the TLCBR CHIP a of from its
socket using an integrated-circuit extractor
tool.
To reassemble the TLCBR CHIP:
1. Make sure that the reference index b on the
CHIP coincides with the reference index c on
its socket.
2. Be careful to center the pins of the CHIP
above their corresponding holes in the
socket.
3. Push the pins into the socket.
The CHIP can be irreversibly damaged
if the reference index of the CHIP is not
correctly matched up with the index on
the socket, or if the pins are bent.
