Locking with the Key
Turn the top of the key toward the front of
your vehicle.
Unlocking with the Key
Note: If the child safety locks are on and
you pull the interior handle, you will only
switch off the emergency locking, not the
child safety lock. You can only open the
doors using the external door handle.
Note: If the doors have been unlocked
using this method, the doors must be
locked individually until the central locking
function has been repaired.
Unlock the driver door using the key. You
can unlock each door individually by pulling
the interior door handles.
Note: When the central locking function
fails to operate, lock the doors
individually using the key in the position
shown.

Illuminated Entry
The interior lamps and some exterior
lamps illuminate when you unlock the
doors with the remote control. The
illuminated entry system will turn off the
lights if:

After 25 seconds of illumination. The lights
will not turn off if:

Illuminated Exit
The interior lamps illuminate when all
doors are closed and you switch the
ignition off. The lamps will turn off if all the
doors remain closed and:

When any door is opened, the exterior
lamps will illuminate and remain on for 25
seconds, along with the interior. Whenever
a door is opened or closed, the timer will
reset.

KEYLESS ENTRY

General Information
Note: The system may not function if
the key is close to metal objects or
electronic devices such as cell phones.

The ignition is on.
You press the remote control lock
button.
You turn them on with the lamp
control.
Any door is open. In this case, more of
the interior lighting will illuminate and
the timer will reset.
25 seconds have elapsed.
You switch ignition to RUN.
