Troubleshooting

Safety instructions
Adhere to the relevant local regulations and standards in your country.

Secure the unit against tipping during transport, after setting up at the installation location.
n
Wear appropriate protective clothing, such as protective gloves and safety shoes, when trans-

porting and installing the unit.
The appliance must be installed in a frost-resistant, non-windy and protected environment.
n
Do not expose the unit to weather conditions such as rain.
n
Only connect the unit in accordance with the installation manual and the information on the
n
nameplate.
Switch the unit off before disconnecting the mains power or connecting to the mains.
n
After use, only transport the unit at ambient temperatures above 0°C [32°F].
n
Only store the unit at ambient temperatures above 0°C [32°F].
n
Do not operate the unit without an air filter.
n
Do not spray aerosols in the vicinity of this appliance while it is in operation.

Service work may only be carried out by technicians that are trained by RATIONAL.

When performing maintenance work, adhere to the relevant country-specific and local regulations and standards.

After performing maintenance work, check the unit for electrical (and, if necessary, gas-related) safety in accordance

After working on gas-carrying components and/or changing the type of gas connected, carry out a detailed flue gas

analysis with the appropriate measuring devices.
Work on gas-carrying components may only be carried out by trained technicians.
After working on gas-carrying components, check all gas pipes for leaks.
When working with chemicals, wear the appropriate protective equipment and clothing, e.g. protective gloves and

safety goggles.
