ENTER KEY CODE
The code entering screen shows information on the type of code and the code
format. Normally, this way of defining the key cut is only used with a series of
indirect codes and not the direct codes, but both options are possible.
All the codes have a profile or mask that are identification elements of the
code and a value that can be defined in two ways. In the case of indirect codes,
the value that this code can have is delimited within a range of minimum and
maximum values. In the case of direct codes, the value is defined with the
combination of symbols allowed by the manufacturer.
The code is entered in the field at the top of the window and the indicator
shows when the code meets the format restrictions.

12.7.2 File with cutting data
Once the app obtains the cutting data from the file in any of the three possible
ways, the key file screen changes slightly to indicate the new possible options.
Key file screen after a key reading
A) File information and reset button: Indicates the information on the chosen
series, the reset button clears the cutting data and returns to the initial key file
screen without data.
B) Side and axis selectors: To select the active side, if the key has several
sides. An axis selector also appears if the side has multiple axes.
1) Engraving button: Activates engraving and allows a template to
be chosen that has been defined for this key model (defined in the Engraving/
Marking section of this manual). The engraving is carried out together with the
cutting process.
C) Cutting information and options: this is all the information available on the
app as regards cutting the key.
1) Line with values read by the machine: these are the depth
values and the symbol that the machine has deduced for the read key.
2) Line with deviations: the difference between the read value and
that defined on the following line.
3) Lines with assigned values: indicates the cutting symbols that
the manufacturer allows that are closest to the read (or directly entered) values
and its depth values. The symbols can be edited at any time.
4) Cut selector between read values or manufacturers' values: The
usual thing to do is cut a key with the manufacturer's values, in special cases,
particularly in the case of old defective locks, it may be useful to be able to cut
a new key from a reading of the original, which is what this selector allows.
