appear, follow
the
instructions in the

Air Conditioning
Your Cherokee may
be
equipped with an air
conditioning
system.
To
cool
vour vehicle
more
quickly,
follow
these tips:
Roll
down
front
1vindows
to
help
expel
/wt air
from the vehicle. After vehicle
has
expelled
hot
air,
roll up
windows
to prevent
outside hot air
from
entering.
Temporw·ily set the upper
level of
the air
con-
ditioning
control
to MAX.
The
MAX setting
cools
and
removes moisture
quickly
from
the
interior by recirculating the
air already
inside
your vehicle.
After reaching
a
comfortable cooling
level,
switch to NORM or
Bl-LEVEL
setting. This
allows for
continued cooling
of
the
11ehicle with
outside air.
