CALIFORNIA EMISSION WARRANTY
How long does the Warranty last:
The warranty
shall
apply for three years or 50,000 miles,
whichever occurs first. Those parts listed on
the long-
term
warranted parts list
are covered
for 7 years or
70,000 miles, whichever first occurs. Where parts are
scheduled for replacement as required maintenance,
the
warranty shall apply until the first scheduled mainte-
nance point listed in the
owner's
manual. This
warranty begins on
the
date
the
vehicle
is delivered to
the original
purchaser or on
the date
the vehicle
is
first
placed in service or
original use,
whichever occurs
first.
What the owner must do:
It
is your
responsibility to perform
the
required mainte-
nance
and
use the vehicle in accordance with Chrysler's
written instructions. Warranty coverage will not be
de-
nied
solely
because there
is
no
record of
maintenance.
However, failures caused by
lack
of required maintenance
are not covered
by the
warranty. To avoid questions
as
lo
whether
the
vehicle
maintenance has been
performl'd,
Chrysler urges
that
you
keep
all receipts and/ or main
Iv
nance records showing
that
service has
been

on
the
vehicle. These documents should be given
