BEFORE USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER

1. Before using the 12-Cup Programmable Iced and Hot Coffee Maker, remove all packaging
materials, stickers, or labels from the appliance other than the rating label.
2. Thoroughly wash the carafe, brew basket and reusable filter in hot soapy water using a non-
abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Place all the parts and close the lid.
4. To clean the water system before first use, add the maximum level of water to the reservoire, then
press BREW/OFF to run the water through the coffee maker. Repeat 2-3 times before brewing your
first pot of coffee.
Note: The carafe, brew basket, and reusable filter can be washed in the top rack of your dishwasher.
Read this user manual carefully before using your 12-Cup Programmable Iced and Hot Coffee Maker.
1. Place the appliance on a dry, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
2. Plug the power cord into wall outlet.
3. The coffee maker will beep, and the function buttons will illuminate.
4. The time digits on the clock will flash indicating the need to set the time.
5. Set the clock to the current time using the hour and minute buttons. 3 Seconds of inactivity will
set clock at time selected.
6. Once the time is set, run a few brew cycles with water only, no coffee grounds, to clean the inside
