8.2 Video Backup
Right click on the Live View screen to bring up the Tool Bar. Left click

to open the Backup Menu. Follow the steps below to backup video.
NOTE:
You can play the videos in the default media players for MacOS and Windows.
Use the CALENDAR to select the time range and date you want to filter. Dates with video

recordings are highlighted in green.
Select the CHANNEL(s) to copy.

Apply filters (Doorbell ring, Face, Human, Motion, or Continuous) and click "Search."

Select the recording you want to backup.

Click BACKUP to save the data on a USB Flash Drive or external HDD (USB DEVICE). The backup

video is in .MOV format.

You can also go to MENU > RECORD > EXPORT RECORDINGS and follow the steps below:

Used NVR password reset on mother board
The Night Owl WNIP2 Series does not allow password resets directly from the Wi-Fi NVR. To reset the password, you must use the Night Owl Protect App. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, create an account if you haven't already, and follow the app's instructions for password reset.
