Pull the protective film off the foam
strips 1 on the inner side.
Clean the contact surface.
Position the frame guard 2 and press on
the adhesion surface areas.
Install the rubber bands 1. To prevent the
rubber bands from being opened by boots,
position the fastening point on the inside
of the frame.
Install the frame guard on the opposite
side in the same way.
SPORT SUSPENSION
with sports suspension
The sports suspension provides greater
agility, handling and fuel reserves off-
road thanks to the optimized suspension
geometry. Harder springs, longer spring
struts and greater spring travel provide
better off-road performance.

M LIGHTWEIGHT BATTERY
with M Lightweight battery
The M Lightweight battery is impressive
with its very low self-discharge, low
maintenance and weight reduced by approx.
2.5 kg.
The integrated diagnostic function of the
M Lightweight battery enables the state of
charge to be checked quickly at the touch of
a button.
The vehicle's starting response may be af-
fected by low temperatures (<5 °C). In this
case, it helps to start it up again and switch
on additional consumers.
Installation and removal of the
M Lightweight battery corresponds
to the standard battery; refer to the rider's
manual of the vehicle for instructions.

DYNAMIC and DYNAMIC PRO: maximum

traction on a loose surface

MSR stabilizes the motorcycle during
coasting overrun or downshifting.
Individually programmable and config-
urable Pro riding modes and selection
from two to four modes.
The Pro riding modes give you a total of
seven riding modes to choose from, which
make the motorcycle even safer and more
versatile. HSC Pro, DBC and MSR are also
included. All of these features ensure opti-
mized handling characteristics both on- and
off-road, particularly when you are accelerat-
ing or decelerating.
