selects port 1 as the line of communication to the
computer, port 2 to an attached printer.

selects port
2 for computer, port 1 for printer.

specifies the US keyboard is in use. Select another set-
ting if you're using a national language option keyboard other
than USASCII.
Identifies terminal for computer applications. Type in the set-
ting you need for your task.

operating in. Select the national language option you intend
to use.

specifies that characters you type are both displayed
onscreen and sent to host computer;

characters are not displayed as they are sent to the computer

inhibit end-of-line wrap).
Specifies whether a line or a page of data is transmitted when
the terminal is in Block Mode.
