System Operation: New Activation Method for Turning
on Your Tech-Air
To turn on and turn off System, the User must now use the Wireless LED Display (3), and
will no longer be able to use the belt to activate the Airbag System.
The User must carefully read the instructions contained herein this System and WLED
Firmware Update Leaflet to ensure the correct activation of the System by the LED
Display (3) and before using the System.
IMPORTANT!
The new activation method of turning on the Tech-Air
the Wireless LED Display (3) completely replaces the belt Activation
System. As soon as the User installs the most recent version of the
software (version 02_05_00_0402_P_00_0) on the System, the User
will NO longer be able to use the Activation Belt (4) to activate the
System. To confirm, with the new software the only Activation method
for the System will be the Wireless LED and the Activation Belt can
no longer be used to activate the System as per Section 12 "System
Operation" of the Tech-Air
IMPORTANT!
This new function of turning on the Tech-Air
Wireless LED Display (3) will not take effect until the User updates the
firmware of the System and has version 02_05_00_0402_P_09_1 or
later installed on the System.
System Activation using the Wireless LED Display (3):
To turn on the System – place the Wireless LED Display (3) in the corresponding
Magnetic Recharge Docking Area (9) located on the Activation Belt (4) and wait for the
start-up sequence of the LEDs to begin (this will take approximately 5 seconds). Please
check the LED indicators light on the Wireless LED Display (3) to verify that the System
starts correctly. See Section 13, "LED Display Indications," of the Tech-Air
for the meaning of the LED indicator lights.
After successfully turning on the System, the User MUST REMOVE the Wireless LED
Display (3) from the Magnetic Recharge Docking Area (9) and place it on the suit (on the
forearm) or alternatively, the Wireless LED may be placed anywhere the rider prefers,
including on the bike, however, it must be located within a maximum distance of 1
meter away from the System.
To turn off the System – place the Wireless LED Display (3) in the corresponding
Magnetic Recharge Docking Area (9) and wait for the LED indicator lights on the LED
Display (3) to turn off (approx. 5 seconds).
