After the batteres are charged, pck up the handset and press TALK; you should hear a dal tone .
If you do not, refer to the Troubleshooting secton n the back of ths user's manual .
The battery may have enough power for short calls . Place the handset n the base, NEEDS
RECHARGING wll appear on the handset (f the battery s very low) . For best performance, charge
the battery for at least 16 hours before usng your telephone .
