Recap: Conditions for Server-to-Server Configuration (SMTP Push)

PathFinder must be:
•
On the network
• Able to connect to the email server via IP
• Allowed by the email server to deliver messages
Conditions for Client Pull configuration (POP3 Message Pull)
• The client PC must be able to reach the PathFinder
• The client PC's email program must be configured to poll a second source for email—the
IP
PathFinder .
• Voice email messages only get placed into the client's email Inbox when the PC and
email client are running and able to poll the PathFinder
Conditions for full VVM operation:
•
The PC running VVM Player must be able to reach PathFinder
• VVM Player must be configured with correct mailbox and password for your voice mail
account, as well as the network name or network address of the PathFinder
• Can still playback messages that have been delivered into email box if PathFinder
cannot be reached
