Power P.C. board and
power transformer
1. Check
''VTP66T6-24A =B, VTP66J6-24A =E/G"
of
power transformer and make sure that any bolt is not
loosened.
2. Check the power source cord indication '' <VDEp>
/E,G,
BASEC.BS6500/B
version''
of
attachment
plug
"KP-419C"', and make sure that the cord is free from
any defect (damage).
3. The primary circuit of the P.C. board and the pattern
contacting the circuit should be extrusion-soldered by as
much as one round to acquire a creeping distance.
*
Any back-mounted
parts of the P.C. board should be
fixed with a spacer or bond.
5. Since the following parts are exothermic, make sure that
such parts will not come into contact with any electrolytic
capacitor/condenser, wire and other parts:
CD block:
The IC306, heat sink and transistors (Q901,
Q902, 903, D901 and IC503) are exothermic
parts.

Tuner P.C. board
Fig. 2-1
Deck block:
The diode (D951),
IC351, heat sink and
transistor (Q801) are exothermic parts.
6. Any wire, etc. should be clamped or bonded as indicated
in the above diagram so that such wire will not be posi-
tioned close to any exothermic
parts.
7. The 10PIN wire of the tuner P.C. board should be treated
by drawing it out to the tuner P.C. board
side after
inserting the connector in order that the wire will not
approach
close to any exothermic
parts.
8. By using the special tool, attach the power cord bushing
to the position where ''4N-4"' is marked.
9. Set and firmly fix the fuses F951,
F953
and F954
respectively to T630mA T1.6A and T630 after confirm-
ing the respective positions.
Other
A
barrier
should
be
provided
between
the
transformer
connector and jack holder.
