Notes on track tyres

Track tyres are sports tyres, which can be distin-
guished by their special tyre tread and tyre com-
pound. These characteristics combine to provide
significantly higher levels of grip on a dry road sur-
face than conventional tyres.
& WARNING Risk of accident due to the tyre
tread depth diminishing more quickly
Due to the tyre compound, the tyre tread
depth can diminish more quickly on these
tyres than on customary tyres.

Driving at low temperatures of 10°C and
below, rain and bodies of water can lead to
aquaplaning and, as a result, loss of control of
the vehicle.
When the roads are wet and/or in low
#
temperatures, replace tyres with suitable
tyres in good time.
In the case of sudden rain, drive
#
extremely carefully and slowly, especially
