1. Recording Movies
This camera is provided with a movie function. You can maKe a 30 second recording at a resolution
of 240 X 320 or a 120 second recording at a resolution of 120 x 160.

Set the mode dial to "W*" and press the
POWER button to turn on the camera.
• The flash cannot be used during movie recording.

Look at the LCD monitor to compose the
movie.
You can use the zoom button to enlarge the image on
the monitor.

Aim the focus frame at the subject and
depress the shutter release button halfway.
When the subject is in focus, the in-focus indicator "o"
lights.
• The focus is locked dunng shooting.

Confirm that the in-focus indicator "o"
lights before you fully depress the shutter
release button.
The in-focus Indicator "O" changes from green to red
indicating that shooting has started. The recording
time is also indicated.
• The zoom button cannot be used during shooting with sound
recording. But it can be used for movies without sound (P62).

Depress the shutter release button halfway
to end the shooting session.
• The shooting session ends automatically when the allowable
shooting time is exceeded.

Remaining movie counter
• The display panel shows the total number of movies that can
be recorded (during the 30 or 120 second recording time).
The remaining movie counter indicates "OOO" when remaining
recording time is less than maximum recording time.
