USING THE TIMED OVEN CONTROL
Food Poisoning Hazard
Do not let food sit in oven more than one
hour before or after cooking.
Doing so can result in death, food poisoning,
or sickness.
The Timed Oven control will turn the oven on and
off at times you preset. You can do this by starting
now and stopping automatically
or by delay start-
ing and stopping automatically. Before using the
Timed Oven control,
make sure the clock is set
to the correct time of day. (See "Setting the
clock," p. 16.)
To Start now and Stop automatically:
1. Set COOK TIME
OR
2. Set STOP TIME
To Delay Start and Stop automatically:
1. Set COOK TIME and STOP TIME
OR
2. Set DELAY START TIME and STOP TIME
OR
3. Set COOK TIME and DELAY START TIME
NOTE: Delayed time cooking is ideal for foods
that do not need a preheated ove_
ike meats
and casseroles. Do not use a delayed time func-
tion when baking.
To use this function, it is necessary to program one
of the following keypads:
COOK TIME or STOP TIME.

Place the SturdiGlide
TM
oven rack(s) where you
need them and put your food in the oven. To
place your racks correctly, see "Positioning
racks and pans" in the "Using the Oven"
section,
p. 13.
2.
Choose the bake setting.

Set the temperature (optional).

Do this step if you want to set a temperature

other than 350°F. Press • to raise the tempera-

ture or • to lower the temperature in 5°F
amounts. Use these pads until the temperature
you want shows on the small display.

4. Press COOK TIME
