| Correcting a disc or track name |
A previously registered disc name can be corrected {by addi-
tion or change). However, if an MD contains a disc or track name
with more than 100 characters that has been input using other
MD recorder than this unit, this unit cannot correct the 101st
and later characters.
@ To add a character
Example) "BET" => "BEST"
1.Make the MD recorder ready for character input.
@ Disc name: Steps 1 and 2 on page 42.
@ Track name: Steps 1 and 2 on page 44.
2. Move to the position where you want to add a
character by pressing the fast forward (>>) or
fast reverse (<<) button.
in this example, move the blinking cursor below character
"B"" to below character "T".
Select the character to be added with the jog
dial on the main unit or a numeric button on the
remote control unit.
In this example, Select character "S" so that it is displayed
by replacing character "T".

4. Push the jog dial on the main unit.
Character "S" is added and the name becomes "BEST".
5. Press the NAME button to exit operation.
@ To change a character
Example) "BAST" = "BEST"
1. After making the MD recorder ready for charac-
ter input, select the character to be changed by
pressing the fast forward (»») or fast reverse
(<<) button.
In this example, move the blinking cursh:below character
"B" to below character "A".
2. Select the new character with the jog dial on
the main unit or a numeric button on the remote
control unit.
3. Press the fast forward (»») button then the
NAME button to exit.

Un nombre de disco o pista registrado previamente puede ser
corregido (mediante adicion o cambio}.
Sin embargo, si un MD tiene un nombre de disco o pista con
mas de 100 caracteres que han sido introducidos utilizando otra
grabadora de MDs, este aparato no podra corregir el caracter
101 y los posteriores.
M@ Para ahadir un caracter
Ejemplo: "BET" = "BEST"
1. Prepare la grabadora de MDs para introducir
caracteres.
@ Nombre del disco: Pasos 1 y 2 en la pagina 42.
@ Nombre de la pista: Pasos 1 y 2 en la pagina 44.
2. Vaya a la posicién donde desee afadir un
caracter pulsando el boton de avance rapido
(>>) o retroceso rapido (<4).
En este ejemplo, ponga debajo del caracter "T" ef cursor
parpadeante que esta debajo del caracter "B".
3. Seleccione el caracter que va a anadir con el
mando de control del aparato principal o con un
botén numérico del mando a distancia.
En este ejemplo, seleccione el caracter "S" para que se
visualice reemplazando el caracter "T".
4. Empuje el mando de control del aparato princi-
pal.
El caracter "S" se ahade y el nombre se convierte en "BEST".
5. Pulse el botén NAME para salir de la operacion.
@ Para cambiar un caracter
Ejemplo: "BAST" — "BEST"
1. Después de preparar la grabadora de MDs para
introducir caracteres, seleccione el caracter que
va a cambiar pulsando el botén de avance rapido
(>>) o retroceso rapido (<<).
En este ejemplo, ponga debajo del caracter "B" el cursor
parpadeante que esta debajo del caracter "A".
2. Seleccione el caracter nuevo con el mando de
control del aparato principal o con un boton
numérico del mando a distancia.
3. Pulse el botén de avance rapido (»r) y luego el
boton NAME para salir.
