The following settings are avail-
able:
Automatic mode - On: alarm
z
system activated automatically
after switching off the ignition.
Automatic mode - Off:
alarm system must be
activated using the remote key
after having switched off the
ignition.
Alarm tone: alarm tone type.
Key sound - On: confirmation
by the turn indicators and a
sound after having switched
the alarm system on/off.
Key sound - Off: confirma-
tion by the turn indicators only;
after having switched the alarm
system on/off.
Configure the desired settings
using the Multi-Controller.

Heating

Operating the heated
handlebar grips
Start the engine.
NOTICE
The heating in the heated
handlebar grips can be activated
only when the engine is
running.
Call up the Handle heat.
menu.
The grips can be heated in five
levels. The fifth level is intended
to quickly heat up the grips; you
should then shift down to one of
the lower levels.
Select the heating stage you
want.
