STEREO RECEPTION [U.S. only]
TV CHANNEL SELECTION PROCEDURE
1. When a stereo broadcast is received, a sign such as "TV 14 STEREO" appears on the screen.
2. Press the MTS key of the remote control unit to receive the audio program in stereo. As channels are changed the set will automatically
switch from mone to stereo according to the broadcast signal condition.
SAP (SECOND AUDIO PROGRAM) RECEPTION [U.S. only]
The Second Audio Program is a monaural channel provided for within the BTSC (Broadcast Television Systems Committee) standard. Trans-
mission of the SAP channel is at the option of the local broadcast station and may not be present along with the stereo broadcast signal.
@ When a SAP broadcast is received, you can select one of the audio reception modes listed in the following table. The current mode is dis-
played on the screen.
