Assembling the chiller connections
Follow these steps to assemble the chiller connections.
1. To prevent rolling, lock the front wheels and place on a flat surface.
2. Remove the plastic cap from the chiller outlet port.
3. Apply three or four rounds of grey sealant tape on the threads for the following components
from the assembly kit (P/N: 163-185105-XX):
•
½" PT male-to- ½" NPT female adapter (can be found in the chiller accessory kit; C in the
image in step 4)
•
½" NPT male-to-female 90° elbow (B in the image in step 4)
•
Male (plug) quick-disconnect (A in the image in step 4)
Make sure to leave the first thread at the end of the components free of tape.
4. Assemble the quick disconnect (A in the image below), NPT elbow (B in the image below),
and PT-NPT adapter (C in the image below) together, using a pair of adjustable wrenches to
tighten.
