fire in
flight

extremely remote.
It
is
essential that
the source
of
the
fire
be
promptly
identified through
character

the
smoke,

heat

the
cabin, instrument
readings,
or
other indications
since the
action to
be
taken
differs
somewhat
in
each case,
Pilot judgment
and
a
thorough
understanding
of
the
aircraft's
systems
is
critical in
determining what action to
take
during this
emergency.
