Cleaning
Carpets
To
clean
carpets,
first
remove loose
dirt with
a
whisk broom
or
vacuum.
For
soiled
spots
and stubborn
stains use
a non-flammable
dry
cleaning
fluid. Floor
carpets
may
be
removed
and cleaned
like
any
household carpet.
8.29 COLD WEATHER OPERATION
For cold
weather operation
a
winterization plate
is
installed
on
the
inlet
opening
of
the
oil
cooler duct on the
left
rear engine
baffle. This
plate
should be installed
whenever
the
ambient
temperature reaches
50"F or
less
or
whenever
oil
temperature cannot be
maintained
at
or
above 140"F
during
continuous
operation. The
plate should
be removed and stored
in
the
cockpit
when the ambient temperature
exceeds 50oF.
