Establishing connections
• Continuous blood sugar monitoring
A small sensor that's attached to your
body continuously measures your blood
sugar level. The NFC connection is used to
transfer this data to a device that can read
it, such as your smartphone. The advan-
tage of this over the usual blood sugar
monitoring method is that you'll no longer
have to prick your finger and will also be
able to view continuous readings instead
of just readings taken at certain moments.
Turning on NFC
• Open Quick settings and turn on NFC
in More settings.
• The position your phone above or in line
with the device you want to establish a
connection with, ensuring the two NFC
modules are as close to each other as
possible.
• The NFC connection will then be estab-
lished automatically and will normally be
indicated by a visual or audible signal.
