All tension meters are calibrated with standard materials - such as polyamide monofila- ment (PA) - according to the SCHMIDT factory procedure; the material path is vertical. The corresponding diameter and material can be found in chapter 2 of the sensor. In the case of factory adjustment to the customer’s sample, the procedure is the same. -

3.5.1 Zero and gain adjustment You can save up to three different calibrations. The instrument is factory-set to material characteristic curve 1. This is the factory calibration, which should not be overwritten.
