Rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium Battery Warning
This equipment contains a Rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium Battery.
Cadmium is a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer.
The Rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium Battery contained in this equipment may explode
if disposed of in a fire.
Do not short circuit the battery.
Do not charge the Rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium Battery used in this equipment in
any charger other than the one designed to charge this battery as specified in this
Guide. Using another charger may damage the battery, or cause the battery to
explode.
Rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium Batteries
Must Be Recycled or Disposed of Properly
Residents Of Minnesota should contact 1-800-225-PRBA for information concerning
reclamation and disposal of Rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium batteries.
Residents outside of Minnesota should contact their local authorities for information
concerning reclamation and disposal of Rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium batteries.
