Assembly

6.1 Mounting the drawbar

The scissor pallet truck is already pre-assembled. Only
the drawbar has to be mounted as follows.

Step 1: Take the drawbar (Pos.1, Fig.5) and insert the
timing chain (Pos.2, Fig.5) into the bracket
(Pos.3, Fig.5) and through the hole of the pin
(Pos.4, Fig.5).
Step 2: Hook the timing chain into the bracket (Pos.7,
Fig.5) of the drain valve.
Step 3: Screw the drawbar to the bracket (Pos.3, Fig.5)
using the supplied screws (Pos.6, Fig.5) and
washers (Pos.5, Fig.5).
The following three positions are operated via the opera-
ting lever on the drawbar (Fig. 6):
Upper position Lowered
Middle position Slow lifting
Lower position Rapid lifting

Adjusting the pressure of the valve bracket
The pressure of the valve bracket (Pos.7, Fig.7) on the
drain valve can be adjusted by using the screw
(Pos.10, Fig.7)and the lock nut (Pos.11, Fig.7).
