Cause
The battery
voltage is low .
Faulty wiring or
circuit .

is switched off .
The battery is
inserted the
wrong way
round or the
battery contact
is poor .
The battery
voltage is low .
Solution
Replace the battery (see
"Insert/replace battery") .
Remove battery and re-
insert after 30 seconds .
Press the TEST button
to switch the display
on .
Remove the battery and
insert/replace it in line
with the terminals and the
chapter "Insert/replace
battery" so that it touches
all contacts .
Replace the battery in
line with the chapter
"Insert/replace battery" .
