LOCATION OF CONTROLS

POWER SOURCE

The unit has a built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery, charge it before first time use or when it is drained as follows:

1. Connect the Micro USB Plug from supplied Connection Cable to the 5V/AUX (In) Port on the top of unit.
2. Connect the full size USB Plug from supplied Connection Cable to the USB Port on the Personal Computer or USB Charger (Computer and USB Charger not included).
   
3. When charging, the Red Charge Indicator inside the 5V/AUX (In) PORT will illuminate. When charging is complete, it will turn off.
4. During charging, you can also play and listening music at the same time.

Notes:
Your battery will last longer if you following these simple guidelines for caring and storing:

1. Before first time use, recharge the unit approximately 4 hours until the unit is fully charged.
2. Charge and store the unit within the temperature range of 5°C - 35°C (40°F - 95°F).
3. Do not overcharge (longer than 24 hours). Excessive charging or running the unit until battery fully drains will damage battery. Battery life will be extended if you keep the battery fully charged.
4. Battery life naturally shortens slowly over time.
5. The rechargeable battery incorporated in this product is not user replaceable.

OPERATION

General Operation

1. Recharged the built-in Li-ion battery as previously instructed.
2. Press and hold the (Power On-Off/Decorative Light On-Off) Button until the LED Display illuminate to power on the unit.
3. Press the MODE Button repeatedly to switch to desired playback mode. The unit will display with your selection (see list below):

Note:
If the Micro SD Card and/or USB Device had NOT inserted/installed into the unit, the correspondence selection will not available.

4. During playback, press and release the or buttons repeatedly to adjust volume level as desired.
5. Press the (Power On-Off/Decorative Light On-Off ) Button to turn off the Decorative LED Lights; press again to turn it back.
6. When finished listening, press and hold the (Power On-Off/Decorative Light On-Off ) Button to shut off the unit.

BT Mode

BT (Bluetooth) pairing:
First time use or re-pairing the unit to a new BT Device, pair as follows:

1. Power on the unit and enter to BT mode as previously instructed. The "BLUE" will appear on the display and blink.
2. Power on the external BT Device and enter to BT searching mode. Start pairing following the on screen instructions from the external BT Device. When paired, the unit will sound a prompt voice "BLUE" appeared on the display will stop blinking.
3. If pairing is complete you may now play music with your external BT Device.
4. During playback:
   • Press the Button to pause, press again to resume normal playback.
   • Press and hold the or Buttons to skip tracks.
   • Press and release the or Buttons repeatedly to adjust volume level as desired.
5. When finished listening, press and hold the (Power On-Off/Decorative Light On-Off ) Button to shut off the unit.

Notes:

• When the external BT Device searched the unit, our model number "MMA3685" will appear on the display of external BT Device.
• If while pairing you are asked for a code please try "0000" or "1234".

Normal operation after pairing:

1. Power on the external BT Device and enter to BT playback mode.
2. Power on the unit and enter to BT mode as previously instructed. "bLUE" will appear on the Display.
3. Wait a few seconds until the unit is automatically paired to the external BT Device. The unit will sound a prompt voice.
4. After pairing is complete you may now play music with your external BT Device.

Micro SD Card

To play the music in Micro SD Card:

1. In power off mode, insert the Micro SD Card (not included) into the Micro SD Card Slot on the top of unit with contacts facing up as illustrated below:
   
2. Power on the unit and enter to Micro SD Card mode as previously instructed:
   • "SD" will appear on the display.
   • Indicator "SD" on the display will illuminate.
   • Music in the card will be playback automatically.
3. During playback:
   • Press the Button to pause, press again to resume normal playback.
   • Press and hold the or Buttons to skip tracks.
   • Press and release the or Buttons repeatedly to adjust volume level as desired.
4. When finished listening, press and hold the (Power On-Off/Decorative Light On-Off ) Button to shut off the unit.

USB

To play the music in USB Device:

1. In power off mode, connect the USB Device into the USB Port on the top of unit as illustrated below:
2. Power on the unit and enter to USB mode as previously instructed:
   • "USB" will appear on the display.
   • Indicator "USB" on the display will illuminate.
   • Music in the USB will be playback automatically.
3. During playback:
   • Press the Button to pause, press again to resume normal playback.
   • Press and hold the or Buttons to skip tracks.
   • Press and release the or Buttons repeatedly to adjust volume level as desired.
4. When finished listening, press and hold the (Power On-Off/Decorative Light On-Off ) Button to shut off the unit.

Notes:

• Up to 16 GB Micro SD Card/USB Device the unit supports to play.
• When inserting the Micro SD Card/USB Device, make sure the direction you selected is correct. Never insert violently to avoid damaging the Micro SD Card/USB Device or the unit. If it doesn't work, please check if the direction is correct.
• Before replacing Micro SD Card/USB Device, make sure the unit has been powered off.
• You also need to download the desired music in MP3 format into the Micro SD Card/USB Device before insert into the unit.

AUX/LINE IN

To listen from an external Audio Player such as MP3 Player, Discman...etc.

1. In power off mode, connect the Round Plug from supplied Connection Cable to the AUX Out/Line Out/Phone Jack on the external Audio Player.
2. Connect the Micro USB Plug from the supplied Connection Cable to the 5V/AUX (In) Port on the top ofunit as illustrated below:
   
3. Power on the unit and enter to AUX/LINE IN mode as previously instructed. "LlnE" will appear on the Display.
4. Play the music on the connected Player as usual. (Make sure the volume level of the connected Audio Player is turned to high level.)
5. During playback:
   • Press the Button to mute, press again to turn the sound back.
   • Press and release the or Buttons repeatedly to adjust volume level as desired.
6. When finished listening, press and hold the (Power On-Off/Decorative Light On-Off ) Button to shut off the unit.

Detachable Shoulder Strap

Buckle up 2 sides of the strap to the hole on the unit, then you can put the strap on your shoulder.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Check the following before requesting service:

SYMPTOM	POSSIBLE CAUSE	POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Can't power on	Built in battery drained	Recharge the built-in battery.
	The unit in power off mode	Press and hold the (Power On-Off/Decorative Light On-Off ) Button until the LED Display illuminate to power on the unit.
No sound or sound weak	Volume of the unit was set to minimum position	Increase the volume level by press and release the Button repeatedly
	Volume level of paired/ connected device is in low level	Rise the volume level of the paired BT device
Sound distortion	Volume level too high	Reduce the volume level by press and release the Button repeatedly
	Volume level of the paired/connected device too high	Reduce the volume level of the paired/connected device
BT not functioning	The external BT device had NOT paired to the unit	Pair the external BT device to the unit
	The external BT device too far from the unit	Place the external BT device close to the unit
