2. Add the rinse aid into the dispenser taking care not to overload it, as this may cause
foam. The volume of the rinse aid container is about 140 ml.
3. Replace the cover by aligning it with the "open" arrow and turning it clockwise.
4. Wipe up any spills with a damp cloth.
The rinse aid is released during the last rinse to prevent water droplets from forming
on the dishes, preventing stains or scratches on the dishes. It also contributes to
improved drying.
Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aid. The rinse aid dispenser is located
inside the door next to the detergent dispenser.

NOTE: Increase the dosage if there are drops of water or lime stains on the
dishes after washing them. Reduce it if there are sticky whitish streaks on the
dishes or a bluish film on the glassware or cutlery.
FILL WITH DETERGENT
Detergents are necessary to remove dirt from dishes and cutlery.
Most commercial-grade detergents are suitable for this purpose.
In your dishwasher you can load detergent in tablets, powder or liquid. Never use a
manual washing detergent!
Depending how dirty the dishes are, the detergent dosage can be adapted to individual
requirements by means of powder or liquid detergent. Detergent tablets contain a
sufficient quantity of active components for all tasks. Powerful modern detergents
often use low alkaline formulations with phosphates and enzymes. Phosphate
includes the lime contained in the water. Enzymes degrade starch and albumin.
Phosphate-free detergents are less common. They have a somewhat lower lime
binding capacity and require a higher dosage. Oxygen-based bleach is generally used
to remove colour stains (tea, ketchup).
The detergent dispenser must be refilled before starting the wash cycle, following the
instructions provided in the wash cycle table. Your dishwasher uses less detergent and
rinse aid than a conventional dishwasher. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent
The rinse aid dispenser has four or six settings, depending on
the model purchased. Always start with the dispenser at an
intermediate point if the dishes stain or do not dry completely
and increase or decrease the amount of rinse aid based on
your preference.
