Clearing the Dust Port/Vacuum Hook-
Up
(Fig. 94)
Do not operate saw without
properly installed Dust Port/
Vacuum Hook-Up. Missing or improperly installed
chute can allow access to saw blade and result in
property damage or personal injury.
Thin cut-offs may fall through the Table Insert 12
and accumulate in the Dust Port/Vacuum Hook-Up
18 preventing dust extraction. The Dust Port/Vacu-
um Hook-Up 18 is removable to allow clearing out
of any dust and cut off buildup. To clear out the
Dust Chute:
1. Loosen the Dust Port/Vacuum Hook-Up Retain-
ing Screw 120.
2. Remove the Dust Port/Vacuum Hook-Up 18 by
sliding it away from the tool.
3. Clear any debris from the Dust Port/Vacuum
Hook-Up 18 and inside of the blade enclosure.
4. Reattach the Dust Port/Vacuum Hook-Up 18,
and secure it with the Dust Port Retainer Screw
120.
