Adjusting the LCD
1 Display the system menu and press the LCD (F2) key to display the LCD submenu.
2 Adjust the contrast of the LCD display using the CONTRAST (P2) knob.
The contrast of the LCD changes depending on the temperature of the LCD in the unit.
As the temperature becomes higher, the LCD becomes white.
Turn ON the power and leave the unit alone for a while to warm up, then adjust the
contrast as desired. This memorizes the best contrast state, eliminating the need to adjust
the contrast hereafter.
3 Turn OFF the back light using the BACK LIGHT (F6) key.
Press the BACK LIGHT (F6) key for more than two seconds.
The back light goes off, and the main menu is returned to the LCD screen. To light up the
back light again, press any of F1 to F10 function keys (At this time, the function keys
only serve to light up the back light).
When the power is turned ON, the back light is always lit.
