VII. Wide Panel/Tele Panel Photography
The Canon Speedlite 480 EG can cover an angle
of view of up to 35mm focal length without an
adapter. When shooting with lenses in the 20-
28mm focal length range, use the Wide Panel 480
EG-20. The guide number will become lower, and
the effective flash exposure control range will
become shorter. If the focal length is equal to or
longer than 135mm, use the Tele Panel 480 EG-
135. The guide number will become higher, arxt
the effective flash exposure control range will
become longer.
a. Mount the Canon Panel Adapter 480 on the tube
section. The top and bottom of the Adapter are
symmetrical, so it can be mounted with either
side facing up.
b.
Depending on the lens you are using, mount
either the Wide Panel 480 EG-20 (WIDE 20mm)
or the Tele Panel 480 EG-135 (TELE 135mm).
Insert the knobs on the panel into the projections
on the Panel Adapter and push them in.
c. To remove the panel, pinch the top and bottom
of the Panel Adapter and pull it out. Do not hold
the sides too firmly, or the Panel Adapter cannot
be pulled out.

Le flash Speedlite 480 EG Canon couvre un angle de
vis6e allant jusqu ' k 35 mm de longueur focale sans
adaptatcur. Pour des prises de vues avec objectifs de 20
^ 28mm, utiliser la Ientille grand-anglaire 480EG-20. Le
nombre-guide diminue et la plage de commande
d'exposition effective raccourcit. Si la distance focale
est^galeou sup^rieure k 135mm. utiliser la l6161entille
480^-135. Le nombre-guide augmente et la plage de
commande d'exposition effective deviem plus longue.
a. Montcr I'adaptatcur de diffuseur 480 Canon sur
la section tube.
b. Monter soil la Ientille grand-anglaire 480EG-20
(Wide 20mm) soil la tdlelentille 480EG-135 (Tel6
135inm) selon I'objectif utilisd. Insurer Tun ou I'autre
dans Tadaptateur.
c. Pour retirer la Ientille, pincer le haul el le bas de
Tadaptateur et le lirer. Ne pas tenir les c6t6s trop
fermement, sinon I'adaptateur ne peut pas etre retird.
