SEAT BELTS
If there is still a problem, contact an
approved dealer.
Unlocking
Press the button 4 on latch 5 and the
seat belt will be rewound by the inertia
reel. Hold by the buckle to make this
easier.
Seat belt reminder light (Driver/
Front Passenger seats)
Depending on the vehicle, it
comes on in the cluster when the
ignition is ON and goes off after few
seconds and if the driver's and/or
passenger's seat belt is not fastened.
When the vehicle is being driven, it
comes on and a beep sounds for
approximately 2 minutes until the
driver's/passenger seat belt is
fastened.
an object placed on the
passenger seat may
activate the warning light in
some cases, depending on the
vehicle.
Rear seat belt reminder
(Depending on the Vehicle)
The 6 graphic is displayed on the
instrument panel in below two states,
This informs the driver fastening status
of each of the rear seat belts every
time:
– the ignition is switched on;
– Status of fastening or unfastening of
a rear seat belt.
Understanding the graphic 6 :
– indicator filled: seatbelt fastened;
– indicator unfilled: seatbelt
unfastened;
Depending on the vehicle, the 6
symbol appears when the ignition is
switched ON, if a rear seat belt is
buckled state to unbuckled state or
any state change. When the vehicle
speed is less than approximately 12
mph (20 km/h), the 6 symbol appears
for at least 65 seconds.
When the vehicle speed reaches or
exceeds 12 mph (20 km/h), if one of
the rear seat belts is or becomes
unfastened during the journey:
– a beep is emitted for 35 seconds ;
and
– the 6 symbol is displayed for at least
65 seconds and the symbol for the
seat concerned changes to unfilled.
Always make sure that the rear
passengers are properly fastened in
and that the number of seat belts
indicated corresponds to the number
of rear seats occupied.

The 7 graphic is displayed on the
instrument panel in below two states,
