USING THE AUTO FOCUS FEATURE
The auto focus system utilizes
infrared light and will focus on
the nearest object that reflects
this light.

Temporary auto focusing can
be performed while this spring-
loaded Switch is pushed in-
wards
when
its

the
"MANUAL"
position
during
manual focusing.
With the "FOCUS AUTO/ MANUAL" Switch set to "AUTO" position, the normal subjects are automatically in
optimum focus .
• DIFFICULT AUTO FOCUS
The distance between the Auto Focus Window and the subject is measured by infrared light, and the Focus Ring is
automatically turned for focusing. However, with scenes like those shown below, the auto focusing may not operate
properly.
