STOPPING THE GENERATOR

Normal Operation

During normal operation, use the following steps to stop
your generator:
1. Remove any connected loads from the control
panel receptacles.
2. Allow the generator to run at "no load" to reduce
and stabilize engine and alternator temperatures.
3. Turn the fuel shutoff valve to the OFF position. This
will automatically run the fuel out of the carburetor
and turn itself off, or you can just turn off the engine
control switch.

During an Emergency

If there is an emergency and the generator must be
stopped quickly, push the engine control switch to the
OFF position immediately.
