POWER SUPPLY
Power for the calibrator and preamplifier sections of the 4292 may be
supplied using the 8 & K Microphone Power Supply Type 2801, or any of
the 8 & K range of Measuring Amplifiers and Analyzers. The power supplied
by these instruments is 12 V DC (10 rnA) for the calibrator section and
150 V DC (2 rnA) to operate an internal zener controlled voltage regulator
which supplies a stabilized 40 V to operate the preamplifier section. The
power input to the 4292 is via the PREAMP. PLUG which can be fitted .
directly to the 7 pin sockets of the instruments mentioned.
