5.1. CALIBRATOR SECTION
5.1.1. Frequency Characteristics
The frequency characteristics of the vibration table for a table accelera-
tion level of 1 g peak (9.81 m/sec
2 )
are shown in Fig.5.1. The characteristics
were measured with an accelerometer Type 4332 (mass 30 gm) loading the
table, the mechanical resonance of which was tuned to 79.6 Hz. It can be
seen from the characteristics that the maximum selectivity (amplitude of
resonance at 79.6 Hz with respect to average noise level) is of the order of
40dB.
