If in doubt, switch off the drive in question immediately.

Stoppages

Measures when motors are at standstill and ready for operation
•= For longer periods, where the motor is not being used, either energize the motor
at regular intervals (roughly once a month) or at least spin the rotor.
•= Please refer to the section "Energizing", before restarting the motor.
Notice
If the motor is out of service for a longer period of time, carry out suitable anti-
corrosion, preservation, packaging and drying measures.
Note
When restarting the motor after a long shutdown period, carry out the measures
recommended in the section entitled "Commissioning".
5.3 De-energizing
Measures
Always refer to the respective manual of the frequency converter when de-

energizing.

If the motor is stopped for longer periods of time, switch off the fan unit and switch
on the space heater (if fitted).
