If the motors are used outside industrial areas, the installation site must be
safeguarded against unauthorised access by means of suitable protection facilities
(e.g. fencing) and appropriate warning signs.
The persons responsible for the safety of the system are under an obligation to
ensure that:
•= the basic planning work for the system and all work relating to transportation,
assembly, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs are carried out
by qualified persons and checked by responsible, suitably skilled persons.
•= these instructions and the motor documentation are made available at all times
while work is in progress.
•= the technical data and specifications relating to the permissible installation,
connection, ambient and operating conditions are taken into account at all
times.
•= the system-specific erection and safety regulations are observed and personal
protective gear is used.
•= work on these machines, or in the vicinity of these machines, by unqualified
persons is prohibited.
These instructions therefore only contain the information which is necessary for the
motors to be used by qualified persons in accordance with their intended purpose.
The instructions and the motor documentation are available in the languages
specified in the supply contracts.
