This section describes the process using a
Windows computer as an example.
You can copy images from the camera to
your computer as follows.
For a computer with a "Memory Stick"
slot
Remove the
"Memor_
Stick" l'ronl the
camera and insert the "Memory Stick" into
tile "Memory Stick" slot of the computer,
then copy tile images.
For a computer without a "Memory
Stick" slot
Follow Stages l through 5 on pages 53 to
57 to copy images.

• A driver is software thai enable equipment
connected to tile colnpllter to operate properly,
• When using Windows XR start fi'om Stage 2.
• When "PicturePackage" is aheady installed,
Stage 1 is unnecessaly.
NOTE: Do not connect the camera to
the computer at this time.

software in use.
• In Windows 2(/(/(/, log on as Administrator
(authorized Administrators),
/ Insert the CD-ROM into the
computer, then click [USB Driver]
when the install menu screen
appears.
The "InslallShield Wizard" screen
appears.

Click [Next].
The USB driver installation starts.
When tile installation is finished, the
screen infortns

completion.

Click the radio button next to
[Yes, I want to restart my
computer now] to select it, then
click [Finish].
Your compuler restarls. Now, you can
establish a 1JSB connection.
Remove lhe CD-ROM when tile installation
is completed.
