Selects tile auto focus operation mode.
_' Single (S AF) Autonmtically ac[iusts the lk)cus when the shutter button is
pressed and held hall_wly down. This mode is useful for
shooting stationaly subjects.
Monitor (M AF) Automatically ac[iusts the focus before the shutter hutton is
pressed and heM hall\_ ay down. This mode shortens the thne
needed for focusing.
• Battel T consumption is laster than in [Single] nlode.
• When shooting using lhe finder wilh the LCD screen off. the camera operates in file [Single] mode.
Selects the digital zoom mode. The camera enlarges the image using optical zoom (up to 3x).
When the zoom scale exceeds 3x the camera uses either smart or precision digital zoom.
Smart
Enlarges the image digit dly with almost no distortion. This is
(Smart zoom)
not available when the image size is set to [4M] or [3:21.
