CAUTION: The information in this removal section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
The following image indicates the location of the VPU card and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
1. Remove the single (M2x2) screw that secures the VPU card thermal plate in place.
2. Remove the VPU card thermal plate from the system board.
3. Remove the VPU card with VPU card bracket from the system board.
4. Remove the single (M2x2) screw that secures the VPU card to the VPU card bracket.
5. Remove the VPU card from the VPU card bracket.

Installing the VPU card

Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
