5.6.5 QoS
QoS acts as a "bandwidth manager" to ensure that those programs that are sensitive
to lag are given as much bandwidth as possible to avoid lag. This feature makes an
impression immensely when users are streaming video or music and especially
when playing online games where lag often means "Game Over".
To assign priority for each type of application and reserve bandwidth can let you
have a better experience in using critical real time services like Internet phone, video
conference ...etc.

Description
Check "Enable QoS" to enable QoS function for the WAN
port. You also can uncheck "Enable QoS" to disable QoS
function for the WAN port.
Set the uplink speed by manual to assign the download
or upload bandwidth by the unit of Kbps.
Set the downlink speed by manual to assign the
download or upload bandwidth by the unit of Kbps.
Select Guaranteed minimum bandwidth or Restricted
maximum bandwidth
Set MAC Address if the address type is by MAC Address
LAN device bandwidth of uplink bandwidth
User choose different percentage to decide the
bandwidth of each client. All percentage of clients must
be 100%
LAN device bandwidth of downlink bandwidth
User choose different percentage to decide the
bandwidth of each client.All percentage of clients must
be 100%
Add the setting data
Click Delete Selected will delete the selected item. Click
Delete All will delete all items in this table.
