TITAN 90 EXTERIOR BLINDS
1. BASIC INFORMATION
Titan blind is a product of shading technology intended for outdoor use. Its primary function is to shield solar
radiation. The Titan blind cannot be considered a safety element. The Titan blind cannot be considered a blackout
element.
2. OPERATION AND SECURITY
The blind is driven by an electric motor and controlled by a controller with up/down/stop buttons.
The functions of the controller are described in the instructions for the specific controller.
The blind is equipped with automatic end stops for both the upper position (slats entirely pulled up) and the lower
position (slats entirely pulled down and closed).
Do not change or adjust in any way the lower end position! This is already set at the factory. If the end stop is
moved beyond the factory-set position, the tension in the blind mechanism will increase and the blind may be
permanently damaged.
The blind is equipped with an obstacle detection system for its protection when lowering the slats down. If the
packet of slats hits an obstacle during lowering (chairs, toys, flowerpots, shoes, etc.), the blind drive stalls and the
packet remains idling on the obstacle. To put the blind back into working order, it is necessary to pull up the slat
pack with the drive min. 10 cm above the obstacle. However, weight of the slat pack may damage both the
obstacle and the slats. Therefore, check that there are no obstacles in the way of the blind whenever you decide
to pull down/up the blind.
The blind is not a toy! Do not allow children to play with the control device of the blind! Keep the remote control
out of the reach of children.
Pull the blind to the upper end position if there is a threat of wind stronger than permitted. (Blind meets class 6
according to EN 135659 for all dimensions).
In winter, the slats may freeze up. Check the slats before pulling them down/up. If the slats are frozen/iced over,
do not manipulate the blind and wait until the slats thaw.
If the blind is connected to an automatic operation system, disconnect the blind from this system in winter.
Check the blind regularly for any damage indications.
When performing maintenance or cleaning, the product must be reliably disconnected from the power supply.
Do not touch the blind while moving, there is a risk of injury or damage to the mechanism of the blind.
Do not touch the internal parts of the blind, there is a risk of injury or damage to the mechanism of the blind.
Do not use any product that shows a defect or failure.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified and trained professionals.
